Mayan Propecies and Calendar: So here we are, all of us just itching to remember. We have a haunting feeling of something forgotten looming just out of reach, lying just beyond the veil of our own created, limiting reality. (Kinda goes on in the second page about aliens giving them this answer. I like to think that they were just very aware of their own and the earth's cosmic cycles and were advanced enough to figure it all out on their own based on their culture and observations.)

This site thinks the Mayans just accidentally got the "slightly more than 365 day caledar" right. You know, just a lucky guess, not actually mathematically advanced.

I wish more was available about what each day really means, and what portents they held based on their observations. According to the first link, much of the interpretation was destroyed or stolen. Sounds a lot like the Tibetan's knowledge of the old Reiki ways. Most of the symbols were lost and have yet to be regained/remembered. *sighs*

I have a beautiful fox face pelt from the pow wow. Anyone have intuitive suggestions on how I might use it in ritual or in some spiritual capacity? (Not wanting it to just be a decoration, but could be put to use as decoration for purse or pouch, but ... looking for more ideas.)
